New Drummer for Verax
pp4684be68.png Luke Atkin, (centre) formerly of Dementia and Overshadow, has joined Spalding Band, Verax.
The band returns from a short hiatus following their performance at the O2 Arena.
The reunion gig is set for 4th March at District 7 in Peterborough.
Last week they were in a studio of a different kind, that of the Spalding Photographer, Jim Scott, for some shots for new promotional material. One of the photographs from the shoot is shown above and shows Luke at the front centre of the group.
Scam warning
Licence scam warning to drivers in Lincolnshire
Drivers in Lincolnshire are being warned of an internet scam operating in the county.
Officers say fraudsters are sending e-mails asking people to verify their driving licence details with the DVLA.
Recipients are told they will have their driving licence withdrawn if the message is not responded to within two weeks.
Officers are urging people to delete the emails and not to open any attachments.
Sgt Ian Jarman, head of Lincolnshire Police's Economic Crime Unit said: "It is important that people realise that not all e-mails are genuine, despite seeming to originate from legitimate organisations.
"Please be constantly vigilant against fraudsters abusing the internet and using e-mails in an attempt to gain your personal details to commit fraud."
